So maybe I just need to get used to it but around what speeds should my transmission shift I come out of first around 15-20 and out of second around 35-40 and usually around 40-45 I hit overdrive is it normal to be in third gear for such a short period of time or is there some kind of adjustment I need to make every shift holds me close to around 2k rpm except for overdrive which drops me down as far as about 1.2-1.5k

One thing to check is your TV cable adjustment. Engine off.. press the cable release button, the little D-shaped button, and slide the cable all the way back into the adjuster. Release the button and twist the throttle to wide open position. You should hear the adjuster 'ratchet' into position as you open the throttle. That's it. Take it for a test drive. The adjustment is very simple, but also very important for proper shifting. If it's too much out of adjustment it can even cause transmission damage. Otherwise, your shifting sounds pretty normal.. check tranny fluid level and condition maybe. Happy holidays! :hi:
